Yael J. Wepman's practice is focused on civil and real estate litigation. Ms. Wepman has extensive experience representing individuals and corporations in a wide range of matters, including claims of discrimination, breach of contract, severance, debt collection, defamation, bankruptcy and real estate. Ms. Wepman also has substantial experience providing advice to managers, employees and C-level executives regarding complex issues pertaining to HR policies and practices, including conflict resolution, reductions in force, terminations, employee relations issues, complaints, and turnover. Prior to joining Smith, Buss & Jacobs, Ms. Wepman was an associate at Peabody & Arnold in Boston, MA.
Ms. Wepman is a graduate of Binghamton University and New York Law School. While in law school, she served as a student attorney for the Unemployment Action Center, and as a legal intern at a multinational financial institution.
Ms. Wepman is admitted to practice in the states of New York and New Jersey; the Commonwealth of Massachusetts; the United States District Court for the Southern District of New York and the United States District Court for the Eastern District of New York. Yael is a member of the New York Bar Association and the American Bar Association. |
